Golondaaj (2021)

Golondaaj is a historical drama feature showcasing the journey of Nagendra Prasad Sarbadhikari, known as the ‘Father of Indian Football’, the first Indian to ever play football and thereby, introducing it as a mainstream sport in the country!The love for football amongst Bengalis’ dates back to the late 1800s, when an Indian and more importantly a Bengali, imagined and dared to imbibe Football amongst people by opening several professional clubs for the sport. His win over British club East Surrey Regiment in Trades Cup was the first-ever win for any Indian club in a major tournament.
